PUUKKO
The Finnish puukko is near and dear to my heart. So much so that it lead me to spending three years in Finland to study traditional puukko making. During my time there I was able to learn many things about puukko and puukko culture that I could never have learned here in the States. I was able to visit makers shops, look at collections, and ask all those questions you’ll never find in a book. I also had opportunities to work with some of the great “puukko seppa". Jukka Hankala, Taisto Kuortti, Arto, and Jari Liukko gave me invaluable insight into methods, technique and history. It is with great pleasure that I am able to bring you authentic traditional puukko.
